Placebo: Lost Tapes — Summer Festival Lockdown Series' screen printed poster by Luke Drozd.
At a time where bands are simply unable to tour, many are looking for new ways to treat and entertain their fans. Cue Placebo's Lost Tapes initiative — a series of streamed live performances from the archives, dating back as far as the UK's Phoenix Festival in 1996. The band have been releasing a performance each Friday since mid-August and will be carrying on right through September.
The notable gig poster artist Luke Drozd was brought on board to create this brilliant Lost Tapes poster, which is a magnificently deft composition of translucent overlays. Screen printed here at the White Duck Editions studio, the edition was then signed by Brian Molko and Stefan Olsdal, to be available exclusively through the band's website.
'Placebo: Lost Tapes' was screen printed in an A2 edition of 300, in 3 translucencies onto 300gsm Gmund Bauhaus paper.
